Graduate in industrial design from ENSCi Les Ateliers, Nathan’s product oriented practice ties together his interests in objects, processes, and photography.
To fight against careless production in the race for novelty, he argues for more thoughtful innovation principles: how can we adapt what already exists to meet our evolving needs? From large systems to small details, it is the harmony of these different scales that allow him to build coherent, sustainable projects for our future.
His global approach to design translates in his project methodology: composing with his drawing, prototyping, and communication skills allow him to imagine and render concrete, multi-faceted solutions.
In Nathan’s mind, the most effective answers to the problems posed by an overflowing world are often born out of minimal interventions. Leading his practice is a recurring question: how to reconcile improving quality of life and the quest to reduce our environmental footprint.
